At the Waterfront Centre, the story of New Iceland, a unique chapter in Canada's history, unfolds through the use of dynamic multi-media exhibits featuring an 18- foot history mural and a painting that "comes to life". A sixty-seat theatre, a tent and cabin dioramas complete the experience.
Our temporary exhibit area, exhibits change three to four times a year. So visit often!

In Lake Winnipeg Visitor Centre the museum presents the natural history of Lake Winnipeg and the fisheries industry. A 500- gallon fish aquarium is home for local fish species and a 1940's whitefish boat are focal points.
