The Book of Life
Family History on the Internet
"The Book of Life" was initiated as a project of the United Icelandic Appeal and was tied to a Donor Recognition Program for the Waterfront Centre in the year 2000.
In 2009 "The Book of Life" became a prime resource for recording the family histories of life members of the New Icelandic Heritage Museum.
"The Book of Life" will be an excellent tool to those interested in genealogical research.
Life Membership
A Life Membership category was added as an option to the New Iceland Heritage Museum’s membership options.
For a donation of $500, the donor, and one guest, will have unlimited admissions to displays at the Museum.
A plaque bearing the donor’s name will be added to the Donor Wall and s/he may contribute up to two pages of family history to the web site’s Book of Life (including photos)
The Book of Life is now a project of the New Iceland Heritage Museum and will be permanently transferred to the museum’s web site in 2009.
